Online poker forums compete against each other in Free Roll and $5 Buy-in November 13 & 14.
October 26, 2010 (St. Johns, Antigua) – Intertops Poker is hosting the second of three OFC Mega Money weekends November 13 and 14 and will dish out another $5000 in prize money from the $23,000 prize pool that the popular online poker site has put up for this series of poker tournaments.
There will be a $2000 Free Roll poker tournament on Saturday, November 13th, 2010 at 3:17pm EST. In addition to the $2000 prize pool provided by Intertops Poker, there’s another $500 in Forum prizes. Players must register by November 10th to compete.
Then the next day for the “Everyone’s a Winner!” $3000 Added Buy-in Intertops will add $3000 to the player prize pool and there will be $1000 in Forum prizes. The tournament begins on Sunday, November 14th, 2010 at 3:17pm EST. ($5 + $0.50 Buy-in).
OFC Mega Money Events are produced by Global Gaming Events. Players represent their favorite online poker forums and communities to compete for prizes in tournaments with thousands in added cash provided by the hosting poker site. In addition to individual prizes there are Forum Prizes awarded to the best performing community sites based on their players’ performance. The prize pool put up by Intertops for this series is the largest overall prize pool for any GGE series since it started running its massive added prize pool tournaments over four years ago.

Over 2,000 players pre-registered for the last set of events. JJkriziss representing UAPoker Info won the Intertops Mega Buy-in Event in October with Simi1127 of Bankrollmob and SimpleJack of Holdem Poker Chat placing second and third. Five online poker forums split $1000 in forum prizes: Gay101bassman, UAPoker Info, SlyDawgPoker, Bankrollmob and Holdem Poker Chat. buzyon of FreerollsForum won the Intertops $5000 Free Roll. Eddycaddy of PromoPoker was second and MARC4696 of MECZ.PL ran third. PromoPoker topped the poker forums that took a share of the $500 in Forum prizes with FreerollsForum, Holdem Poker Chat, MECZ.PL and Poker Listings. There will be another set of OFC Mega Money Tournaments at Intertops in December. Everyone that plays in two of the three Buy-in Events held this fall will be eligible to play in a $2000 Free roll to be held on January 15th, 2011.
