September 12, 2012 (Tsuu Tina Nation, Alberta, Canada) – First Nations-owned GEObet Gambling Network is sponsoring an igaming conference in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan September 25th that will explore business opportunities that would be generated by the creation of an online gambling industry in First Nations communities. A panel of tribal leaders who were the driving forces behind the development of land-based casinos in Saskatchewan will explain how they are applying a similar model in the creation of an online gambling industry. Panelists include Bernie Shepherd, Federation of Saskatchewan Indian Nations and Walter Janvier, Vice-President of North American Business Investment and Relations at Golden Arrow Worldwide Ltd.
iGaming industry experts will be on hand to explain revenue and employment opportunities associated with online casino, poker and sportsbook operations. Michael Caselli, a respected online gambling industry expert and editor of iGaming Business magazine and iGaming Affiliates magazine will deliver a keynote address.
“In the UK and Europe, igaming has delivered unprecedented return on investment,” said Caselli from his London, UK office. “And it’s not just owners and stockholders that profit. Since it’s an industry that requires services from marketing to customer service, online gambling generates a whole range of local business opportunities.”
iGaming experts speaking at the one-day conference include Customer Acquisition and Retention Consultant Adam Soroka, sportsbetting expert Adam Cortiula and Peter Karroll, CEO of IAM Corp., a leading online gambling marketing firm.
“It is imperative that Saskatchewan casinos offer their players an online alternative before regulatory changes enable Las Vegas casino consortiums to lure them away,” Karroll commented from his headquarters in Paris, France. “Land-based casinos must get online now, before the window of opportunity is closed.”
The GEObet Gambling Network, operated by Golden Arrow Worldwide Ltd, is currently exploring opportunities with Saskatchewan First Nations to develop an online gaming solution that will extend the reach of the Saskatchewan First Nation gaming network operated in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan. The GEObet Gambling Network offers a simple solution to tribal and independent casino operators to compliment and extend their land-based casino operations, enabling them to immediately start moving their land-based casino customers online.
