18th APRIL 2012 (London, UK) – iGaming Business, the biggest and oldest publisher of business information for the online gambling industry, announced today the first wave of section editors for its new publication; iGaming Business North America. These section editors represent the crème de la crème of iGaming and will help shape and advise the content for the new publication designed to address the needs of North American companies going online as the market regulates.
David Briggs, CEO of Geo Comply has come on board to advise and lead the management and marketing content and is well- matched with a wealth of knowledge and contacts. Prior to his current role, David set up and ran Orchid Sports following his position as Managing Director for Ladbrokes eGaming business (2005 – 2007).. Professor I. Nelson Rose, one of the world’s leading authorities on gambling law and author of more than 1,500 published works, will direct the law and legislation section.
iGaming Business’ own financial editor Melissa Blau, Director of iGaming Capital, will apply her expertise to the North American market and oversee the financial section for this new magazine. Melissa’s consulting company specialises in advising mainly land- based companies on developing online strategies and currently has clients such as Hard Rock Seminole, Pechanga Development Group, Paragon Gaming and Optimal Payments. Finally Kevin Mullally, General Counsel and Director of Government Affairs of Gaming Laboratories International, Inc. (GLI), will lead the compliance and technology focused editorial. Mr Mullally serves as GLI’s primary liaison to elected officials (both state and federal) , regulatory agencies, key organizations devoted to developing gaming and casino policy and senior level executives of gaming equipment manufacturing companies. He is also a key liaison with regulators internationally.
