MiGS partners with EY on seminar for UK Gaming Tax Reforms

migs14-160.jpg 3 November 2014, St. Julian’s, Malta (Press release) — The Malta iGaming Seminar (MiGS) organisers have announced that they are coordinating a private seminar for EY in collaboration with the Lotteries and Gaming Authority, Malta.

The “EY Seminar on the UK Gaming Tax Reforms”, is scheduled for the 10th November from 8.30 till 11.00am. Hon. Jose Herrera, Parliamentary Secretary for Competitiveness and Economic Growth and Joseph Cuschieri, Executive Chairman, Lotteries and Gaming Authority will be addressing the guests. The keynote speech will be given by Gavin West, Director of Betting and Gaming at EY, UK and Ireland.

Mr. West is responsible for EY’s indirect Tax Teams service offerings to the betting and gaming industry across the UK and Ireland. During his 11 years working in the industry he has gained substantial experience in advising a wide range of key stakeholders including operators, suppliers, trade associations and regulatory bodies.

The event will tackle the key issues being faced by betting and gaming operators in relation to the UK gaming tax reforms.
